Emmy and James Beard nominated host Jermaine Stone hits The Art of Alcohol in St. Louis, Missouri, with Act II of The Wine and Hip Hop Terroir Tapes Listening Sessions!
The Terroir Tapes listening sessions are the wine tastings hip-hop heads have been waiting for. This immersive and educational series takes attendees on a dual exploration of the geography behind the wine regions that shape the bottles we enjoy and the unique St. Louis hip-hop scene that captured the world’s attention.
Pouring 6 specially curated wines, Jermaine dives deep into the distinctive characteristics of St. Louis hip-hop regions. From the tempo and metaphors to slang and cultural influences, he connects the dots between the environment of wine and hip-hop. Attendees will gain a unique perspective on how both art forms are shaped by their surroundings, from dance styles to production techniques.
